These are "ORIGINAL," Subaru floor mats. They are not replacement mats. My wife and I purchased a new vehicle, and in the process of this purchase ordered new form fitted rubber liners. That said, these have not never been taken out of the package. I opened the package a few inches to photograph the color of the mats. At the time we purchased the formed mats, we had a dog, it seemd the most appropriate to get the form lined matts. The mats in this listing have never been taken out of the package (I know I have just repeated myself here, just to make the point). The original Subaru manufacture's tag indicates the color as black. However, to my eye it is a very dark charcoal grey color (almost black, not quite a true balck). These are the original and genuine Subaru Outback floor liners. As they have been never taken out of the original packaging, the conditon is brand new. If you want the real thing this is it...
