Description
Here are five vintage empty poison medical bottles plus a box. Four bottles and the box are from Duncan Flockhart. One of the bottles is from T & H Smith. All are clearly marked “Poison.” The largest bottle is cobalt blue with a broken cork stopper. It is marked "Glycerinum Phenolis." The second largest is brown glass with a brown stopper that easily is removable and replaced. It is marked "Pure Chloroform." The third largest is also cobalt blue with a clear stopper that is stuck in the neck of the bottle. It is marked "Tinctura Opii Camphorata." The fourth largest is cobalt blue with a clear glass stopper that is stuck in the neck of the bottle. It is marked "Liquor Atropinae Sulphatis." The smallest bottle is green glass with a green glass stopper. I do not knoww if it is removable because it is still tied with vintage string. It is marked " Pulv (pulverized) Antimony Tart (tartrate)." This small bottle is from T & H Smith. The box is marked "Crushable Glass Capsules Chloroform Pure." The box still contains one capsule. They are great collectibles for vintage medical collections, particularly if you collect poison containers. Only one bottle opens and closes easily. The other bottles are sealed. The containers pictured are the ones you will get so please examine closely. Low starting bid. Enjoy!
